Dechen’s Hip Hop and House Workshops at Crossover Dance

Dechen is back in Australia for a short holiday from her exploits in Europe! All old school XO fam will know she’s an amazing person and dancer who now has years of international dance experience from her travels. She’ll be teaching Hip Hop and House workshops so come down and say hello! Welcome back Dech, it’ll be great to see you again!

She is a part of XO history and has to this day held the disctinction of biggest class ever at XO! We’re super fortunate that she’s back for a workshop, so make sure to come down and dance!

2016 New Classes at Crossover Dance

We’ve got a new timetable XO friends with lots of new classes, times and style for you to dance through 2016! There’s a slew of changes, so take a look at the new timetable and look for changes to your fav classes below! Don’t forget for the whole of this week it’s $130 for a 10 pass!

Friday 8th
Ellens Waacking is moving to 7:00pm
Sue is taking over Shutdown’s Krump class and it’s moving to 7:30!
Jino starts a new popping class at 8:15

Saturday 9th
Duc is swapping with Sammy and is taking over the 1pm Breaking class
Blake’s JFH is moving to saturday at 5pm!

Sunday 10th
Carmen’s Kpop is moving to 1pm
Sammy is swapping with Duc and taking on the 3pm BBoy class
Emily is taking over Lex’s Urban Choero class and moving to 4pm!

Monday 11th
Twty is starting a new breaking class at 6pm! This replaces Robin’s who is away in HK!
Jaye’s Kpop class is moving to 6pm
Nao’s Hip Hop class is moving to 7pm!
DECHEN is back for a one off House workshop at 8:15!

Tuesday 12th
Emily is taking over Jaye’s Girls HIp Hop class at 6pm
Josh’s Urban Choreo is moving to 6pm as well!
Alice is also moving to 6pm! It’s a party!

Wednesday 13th
Sammy Breaking class is moving to 5:30pm
Jaye’s Girl Style is moving to 6pm
Nao’s Hip Hop is mobing to 6:30pm
NEW CLASS with Mini coming back to teach waacking at 7:30!

Thursday 14th
NEW CLASS with Justina teaching Dancehall at 7pm
DECHEN is back for a one off Hip Hop workshop at 8:15!

Friday 15th
Nao’s class is moving to 6:30

Monday 18th
NEW CLASS with Alicia coming back to her Jazz class at 7pm

BBoy Puzzles Workshop and Poe One’s Judging in Breaking Battles Seminar @ XO

On december 18th it’s going down at Crossover Dance! BBoy Puzzles will be in town for 143 LSF 10th anniversary Jam and he’ll be hosting a workshop at 7:00pm. Not only that, the legendary Poe One will be hosting and info seminar on judging in breaking battles. Come hear his take on judging and ask him questions about the how’s and whys!

About Puzzles
SuperNaturalz Crew, Toronto Canada
Known for his dynamic footwork, smooth transitions, flava and style. He is one of the most recognized bboys in the world. Puzzles understanding of this dance has earned him multiple world titles and also given him the opportunity to judge and teach workshops all over the globe.

Puzzles started his journey in the dance of bboying in 1996 and along the way have learn from such greats as Poe1 and Alien ness. Since 2008, he’s won international battles all over the world such as Freestyle Session (LA, USA), Rocksteady Anniversary (New York, USA), Mighty 4 (Detroit, USA), Total Session (France), Keep On Dancing(China), International Mix Dance Battle (Korea), Floor Wars (Denmark), Just For Laugh (Canada), World Of Dance (Canada) and most recently Break the Floor (France) and Circle Industry (Austria) just to name a few.

This impressive run has owed at least a little something to a bboy from Pickering, Ontario. The Supernatz member and Redbull BC one rookie contributes an array of dancing abilities to his crew. His impeccable footwork stands out, but so does the sense of musicality that he shows whether he’s toprocking or rolling through a blow up. The end result is a tendency to stun crowds and leave others inspired.
