Welcome to 2015 and welcome again to Kpop Summit! Kpop Summit is the largest fan run kpop cover event in Sydney featuring 100’s of dancers, singers and musicians showcasing the Sydney kpop community as we celebrate kpop dance and kpop music! With more and more people joining our community, we’re proud to once again be presenting 2 shows full of the kpop that you love!

Sydney’s best crews will all be there performing live with mainstays IJGK’d, Zisspop, Sixx, Aura, Triple C, Re%, Soul Sistarz, xoK, HSCUL8R and more. Joining them will be a host of crews from throughout Sydney who have worked hard and trained harder to put together performances celebrating your favorite kpop acts! Once again due to you awesome fans, each show features and entire different set of acts!

As always we are also going to be holding some awesome kpop games with some great prizes from our sponsors at the event. This year we are hoping to include a kpop cosplay section as a kpop freestyle battle! We’re still working things out but there will be awesome prizes up for some lucky fans to win!

XOKpop Hwaiting!

We are starting an XO Choreography class taking place every Saturday at 5pm, consisting of a rotation of different instructors offering different styles for you! Every month, we’ll find you instructors who are passionate about teaching and sharing their knowledge of dance with you, we guarantee you’ll have fun!

Henry Vo Tran is an LA dancer.
LA style is a all choreography style dance.
Been dancing for 6 years and has learnt from international choreographers around the world.
I’m 17 and currently residing in Cabramatta.
Even though I may be young, I have a lot of kownlegde in this style of dance from many other dancers in the Sydney area,
who has taught and gave me inspirations to keep going and to work hard on this style of dance.

Eliam Royalness is the director of The Pioneers Megacrew, whom have represented Australia at Hip-hop International in Las Vegas. Eliam has achieved various top placings at World Supremacy Battlegrounds, Hip-hop International Australia, and various other competitions. He has an energetic, sexy, and feminine feel to his choreography.

24th January – URBAN CHOREO
Straight back from the U.S, Feras is ready to share what he has discovered while training with international choreographers/dancers/groups.
If there were any class that allows you to let go and just go all out then this class would be it. This class focuses on pushing the students to understand the choreography so they can re-live it, perform it, and perfect it.
Basic choreography with a lot of character, this class paints the final touches in any dancers movements.
Develop coordination, physical confidence and self-esteem and most importantly, have fun and let lose!

We have a big month coming up ahead, so come down and get your groove on! Join us for our new XO Choreography classes, every Saturday 5pm!

31st January – LA Hip Hop
Jomar De Pedro Is a home bred dancer who has been taught by many of Sydney’s best dancers. Jomar is one of the founding members of the NXT UP Crew in 2014, Led by Melanie Louise. Jomar and the crew have been focused on growth, as they have each achieved exclusively high end opportunities, performing at a dance showcase for channel 10 with the pioneer of hip hop Buddha Stretch and Intro Dancers on tour for leading Asian Pop Stars G.E.M, J.J Lin. Jomar Has been taught and performed side by side with many of the most highly demanded dancers in Australia with the likes of Rosa Agius, Minh-Tri Le, Melanie Louise and Daryl Morante. Jomar teaches a flair of personal soul, high energy and with confidence of growth within his class.

Happy New Year and Welcome back! We are ready for a new year, and can’t wait to share with you!
It’s our first day back this year, so I see no reason on why you shouldn’t come down and dance with us. Plus, after all those holiday feasts, dance is the best way to lose all that holiday weight!

There will be some classes off for the next few weeks as our instructors may still be overseas, so remember to check our daily updates!

The 10/10/14 will mark 4 years of Crossover Dance Studios. On the following day 11/10/14 we will hold the 4th annual student showcase performance, the Crossover IV! It’s been a crazy journey so far and it’s party time as each class and instructor at Crossover puts together a performance piece for all their students to perform together on stage! We invite all you guys out there to come down and have a party with us as we show what we’ve accomplished over the last year!

The Crossover is a celebration of 2014. A place for dancers new and old to enjoy the spotlight and dance on stage. A time for remembering the awesome times of the year and chance to look forward to 2015! Please come and join us as XO crowns another year with the Crossover IV!
