XO Live Streaming Classes | $8 Class Trial Week!

Crossover is logging on! Even though we all need to stay home, it doesn’t mean you need to stop dancing, and Crossover has been hard at work hammering out the best way to deliver classes to you! We’ve found what we think is the best solution – Live Streamed dance classes, where the instructor will be able to watch your dance, you’ll be able to ask questions and get feedback, plus socialize online with your other class members!

As we get our instructors set up and online, we’re starting with a trial week Tuesday-Sunday to get everyone up to speed. To start out with we’ve got 11 instructors who will be teaching classes that are just $8 to take. Curious? Why not come give it a go, from anywhere in the world!

In addition, for a lot of instructors, dance is a large part of their income, so by taking online classes you can also help to support them! For the trial week 100% of the class fees will be passed straight onto the instructor, so please both come meet up and dance again with your favourites! They will be live streaming from home so they will not be risking their health or others by leaving the house!

If this goes well we’ll expand the program, with more instructors coming on board plus maybe some favourites from all around the world. I’ve heard we might even have some special guests able to do special online workshops (hint, Devilicious :D) but we have to work out if this is gonna work first!

So we hope you’ll join us in this online new world as we setup Crossover Online. It’s a crazy time, but what better time to Enjoy Dance! See you online 😀

COVID-19 UPDATE

Hello all Friends and Crossover Fam

So it has just been announced that NSW is going into a government mandated shutdown for non-essential services. Due to this, we’ll need to close Crossover for the moment, but we’re working on what we can do in the meantime, and how we can come back bigger and better than ever!

We will close and all classes will be off from 23/03. We’re looking to re-open as soon as we are allowed to by the government.

In the mean time, all passes that you have at Crossover will be paused, so don’t worry about your expiry. We’ll restart them when we re-open plus give everyone with a current 3,6 or 10 pass a further 6 months extension.

It’s a tough time for everyone, so we hope you guys understand why we need to do this, and can continue to support XO in the future. We might have to take a small break now, but let’s count down the days until we can meet, jam and enjoy dance again!

Stay tuned for updates but for now, stay healthy and see you soon!

Beginners Performance Showcase Classes – XO Interlude

This year we will be launching a new performance showcase for Crossover dedicated to helping beginners and new dancers live the experience of performing live on stage! Dance is a performance art, meant to be showcased, so if you’re ready it’s time to show everyone what you can do. No matter what style of dance you do, everyone needs to take their first steps, so take the chance and join us in the spotlight! Come learn fun, beginner friendly classes over 5 weeks and if you’re ready, take it to the stage. This showcase is only for beginner classes to perform, as well as community crews and newcomers so it’s time for you to take your place for your debut. Join us at the XO Interlude!

5 Week Beginners Performance Classes
Learn a routine over 5 weeks, then perform if you feel you are ready! Beginners are encouraged to try and see how they go!
1st week of each class is $15 only!

1st week of each class is $15 only! Then you can choose to pay an extra $65 for the remaining 4 weeks or just pay class by class.
You can take the class without performing, but the final 3 weeks of each class will be only open to those people who have taken the previous weeks classes.
If you’d like to perform there is an additional $35 showcase fee which will cover your showcase, extra rehearsal, your own seat at the show, show t-shirt and afterparty.
Interlude will be held on the 6th July @ Tom Mann Theatre, Surry Hills

UPstaged 2019 – UP your game will take place on the 4th of May 2019 @ Everest Theatre, Seymour Centre.

There is one MAJOR change to the showcase this year. Each piece will be performed twice, over 2 separate shows. Each show will run exactly the same. You will therefore have the opportunity to perform the routine twice to two different audiences.

The first show will be held at 3pm – 5:30pm the second show 6:30pm – 9:00pm

Each week one

Your first course costs $150. If you’d like to take additional ones there is a discount per course with your 2nd course being $140 and all further courses being $130 each. This includes 7-9 hours of class time over the total course.
There is also a one time showcase fee of $70 which includes a limited edition show tshirt, rehearsal, photography, video and a seat in 1 of the 2 shows. You will also receive one EXTRA ticket to one of the shows that you can sell or give to a friend. The ticket retail price is $40. You only are required to pay the showcase fee once, no matter how many showcases you are in.

Each 1st week of most courses will be regular class price. This is your chance to try out the course and see if it’s for you. If you do choose to continue, the price of the first class will be deducted from the course fee!

You have the option of paying courses in installments of $40 per week until the total amount is paid. There is no penalty to paying in installements.

Some courses will have a trial class running the week before they are scheduled to start. You can take these for normal class price. More info on trial classes will be available soon.
