XOVP: CROSSOVER VIDEO PROJECT 2020
XOVP Audition Classes continue this week!
Join up to perform in an dance concept video with your favourite instructors to celebrate the end of the year!
Also, we’ve introduced Student and Uni Society prices to the courses! Check the event for more details.

This week:

Necchi and Miku – Sat 6pm – Hip Hop

$10 Jazz Contemporary Fusion Workshops with Jess & Strickland!
We’re excited to announce a series of 3 special workshops from Jess & Strickland who are keen to share and experiment with their dance at Crossover for the first time!

XOVP: CROSSOVER VIDEO PROJECT 2020
Crossover Dance Video Project starts this week!
2020 has been a crazy year. We’ve been unable to do the performances and shows that we normally run throughout the year and it was looking like we wouldn’t be able to do anything performance wise. But we won’t let it end like this! For 2020 we will be holding the Crossover Video Project. A chance to learn, train, dance and film a project video with your favorite instructors. These will be professionally taught, filmed and edited dance videos that we will premiere together for all of us to watch together before the end of 2020! These videos aim to encompass all of XO, so we will be doing them for beginners to advanced levels, in all the styles that Crossover excels at. Interested? Check out the structure below and sign into class to join the XO Video Project! Enjoy!
There are open classes for all levels which you can try out but also auditioned courses for intermediate to advanced level dancers if you’re ready for a challenge!

Two instructors are starting a new class this week!
– Xuan will now be teaching both a BEG and INT St Jazz class on Fridays! Join him at 6PM for BEG and 8:10PM for INT!
– Shannon will now be teaching another ABS BEG Hip Hop class! In addition to her Tuesday 6PM, she will now be teaching on Saturdays at 2PM!

New Classes with Kelly: Jazz & Contemporary Beginners at XO

We’re super happy to announce the amazing Kelly is back to teaching her Beginner Classical dance classes on Saturdays!
She’ll be teaching Jazz Beginners at 3PM as well as Contemporary Beginners at 5PM weekly on Saturdays!

FROM KELLY ON CLASS CONTENT:
Hi it’s Kelly!!! I hope everyone is doing well and that you’re all staying safe and healthy.

I’m excited to announce (after many months of social iso) that I’ll be back to teaching again! Starting off with my usual Jazz and Contemporary classes on Saturdays.

My classes are aimed at developing and improving classical dance technique with the inclusion of choreography to help connect technique to performance.

Looking forward to dancing with you all very soon 😊

ABOUT KELLY:
I started dancing when I was 4 years old and have accumulated over 17 years of experience in a range of classical styles including ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, modern and tap. I began developing an interest in choreography during my dance HSC in high school and it has been one of the many skills that I endeavour to constantly improve on. I’ve had extensive stage experience from a very young age, participating in many performances and eisteddfods at the Sydney Opera House, Riverside Theatre, NIDA, Seymour Centre, and Science Theatre. I’ve also taught weekly contemp classes for MADSOC and workshops for MODSOC dance team and MDA. I also had the opportunity to travel to the U.S as part of a high school dance tour where I took many masterclasses from renowned ballet and contemporary teachers.
