Crossover’s End of Year Showcase is here, and we’re in double DOUBLE digits! The Crossover Eleven will cap off an awesome year with a whole host of XO’s instructors holding performance courses to perform on stage. As it is the eleventh installment of the show, we have asked each instructor create a piece with their students and then describe their piece in eleven words.

With free reign to create something to mark the end of 2023, each instructor has chosen their own theme for this show. Featuring hip hop, choreography, contemporary, street styles and more, join us for The Crossover Eleven!

House Freestyle Course w Jasey

Drop in still available

Jasey will be leading an introductory house dance course spanning 4 weeks. This course is tailored for individuals with prior dance experience, but beginners who are aiming to delve deeper and bolster their confidence in house dancing can also learn a lot.

Maggie Madfox Movement & Musicality Workshop
Sat 4th 5pm – 6:30pm
$25 Workshop

By exploring the possibilities of movement through rhythm and dynamics; by understanding different aspects of musicality; as well as establishing the narrative through your own interpretation.

Maggie will be running a continuing performance course based on this workshop to perform on stage at the Crossover 11.

Arm and Hands Workshop w Anya (Japan)
4th Nov 6:30pm -8:00pm
$30 Workshop

Hi l’m Anya from Japan to now, I’m living in Sydney, Australia.
I started my dance journey at the age of 10 and have earned multiple titles in various dance competitions and battles. During the 22-23 season of the D League, I joined Benefit One MONOLIZ, a professional dance team in Japan.

My expertise lies in choreography that emphasises arm and hand movements. Additionally, I have a history of supporting artists as a dancer, which includes appearing in music videos.

Anya is open to running a continuing performance course based on this workshop to perform on stage at the Crossover 11.

“Us & Them” Exploration Performance Course by Maggie Madfox invites you onto a journey of connection and curiosity.

By exploring the possibilities of movement through rhythm and dynamics; by understanding different aspects of musicality; as well as establishing the narrative through your own interpretation.

In this
4-week course, we will workshop and create a contemporary performance piece together that highlight freestyle. Come join us on the 4th Nov for a trial class before the course starts.
