Crossover Dance Studio’s 5th year anniversary is coming!
It is that time again when we hold our annual student showcase, The Crossover V, this time we are holding this on the day we opened 5 years ago! We would like to invite everyone to join our celebration of our 5th Birthday! Following the theme of “Looking Back On Your Time at Crossover” come and watch the instructors that have made Crossover so amazing in the past 5 years as they present to you a piece that holds a special significance during their time at XO! With special appearances from crews and dancers from the past as well as upcoming dancers with a great passion for dance! So come support and celebrate with us during this momentous event, and share the love of dance and let’s remember all of the awesome times at XO!

Sydney’s most anticipated battle of the year; The Crossover is back bigger and crazier than ever! It’ll be a great party for everyone to get down, have fun and enjoy the music as one big family.

Crossover Dance Studio is excited to announce this year’s battle category: 2 v 2 all styles, featuring a crazy line up of judges, challenging your technique, musicality and experience against Australia’s best dancers.

Each year The Crossover has gotten bigger and bigger and this year looks to be the biggest one yet. Come on down and support your favorites and get ready to crown the new champion of The Crossover!

O-Week 2014! $8 Classes!

It’s time again for Crossover Dance’s annual O-week for 2014!

This week is a time for dancers new and old to enjoy dance and check out all the classes and teachers that XO has to offer. Are you a new dancer that want’s to see why XO is the no.1 street dance studio in Sydney? Are you a dancer that wants to try out a new style? Are you an XO regular that just wants cheap class? These weeks are for you!

Oh wait, did I say weeks? Yes I did! This year we are holding o-week for 2 weeks! March 3rd -9th will be $8 Week where each class is just $8. Then the next week 10th – 16th will be $10 week, but there’s an extra special thing happening that week that we’ll reveal soon!

As usual we have an event to co-incide with O-week. This year we are bringing all university societies together in an Interuni battle called Unification Day on March 1st before O-week.! It’s a free event for everyone to come and watch the uni soc’s battle it out. If your interested in watching dancers get down and freestyle battle. Remember it’s FREE and a great way to check out where to studio is before the O-week! Check out this page for more info:

Then on March 9th we are also hosting an international level battle known as Dance@Live! Dancers from all over Australia will fly to Sydney to battle 1on1 for a change to be flown international to represent Australia in the Dance@live finals! This event awesome and you will be able to see some super high level dancers do what they do best. Check this page out if you are interested:

Do you know someone who might be interested in learning dance? How about a kpop fan? Or maybe someone who wants to learn some moves for the club? Every time we have run O-week we have had an awesome time, with dancers of all kinds coming together to enjoy dance. This year, with more classes and styles then ever before, is looking to be even bigger! Get involved, come down and be part of XO Oweek 2014!
