The 10/10/14 will mark 4 years of Crossover Dance Studios. On the following day 11/10/14 we will hold the 4th annual student showcase performance, the Crossover IV! It’s been a crazy journey so far and it’s party time as each class and instructor at Crossover puts together a performance piece for all their students to perform together on stage! We invite all you guys out there to come down and have a party with us as we show what we’ve accomplished over the last year!

The Crossover is a celebration of 2014. A place for dancers new and old to enjoy the spotlight and dance on stage. A time for remembering the awesome times of the year and chance to look forward to 2015! Please come and join us as XO crowns another year with the Crossover IV!

Sydney’s most anticipated battle of the year; The Crossover is back bigger and crazier than ever! It’ll be a great party for everyone to get down, have fun and enjoy the music as one big family.

Crossover Dance Studio is excited to announce this year’s battle category: 2 v 2 all styles, featuring a crazy line up of judges, challenging your technique, musicality and experience against Australia’s best dancers.

Each year The Crossover has gotten bigger and bigger and this year looks to be the biggest one yet. Come on down and support your favorites and get ready to crown the new champion of The Crossover!

Kpop Summit 2014 Season 2!

Kpop Summit is back again for season 2 in 2014! Kpop Summit is the largest fan run kpop cover event in Sydney featuring 100’s of performers uplifting and showcasing the Sydney kpop community as we celebrate kpop dance and music! After the success of the 2 show format of Kpop Summit in May earlier this year, we are bringing Kpop Summit Season 2 the same way with a morning show 3pm and a night show 6:30pm! Also this year we have a couple of suprises in store for all your kpop summit fans!

Sydney’s best crews will all be there performing live with, IJGK’d, Zisspop, Sixx, Triple C, Re%, KUTeSy, xoK, Jenna Cloud and more. Joining them will be a host of crews from throughout Sydney who have worked hard and trained harder to put together performances celebrating your favorite kpop acts! Since last summit the number of performers and acts has increased even more so both shows will feature entirely different acts by different crews.

We are also going to be holding some awesome kpop games with some great prizes from our sponsors at the event. We’re still working things out but there will be awesome prizes up for some lucky fans to win!

So if you love kpop, want to support the Sydney kpop scene, want to see awesome performances and party with kpop fans, come down and join the biggest kpop event in Sydney! Let’s go Kpop Summit 2014! Hwaiting!

UPstaged 2014 :~Collaboration! XO’s Annual Showcase Event!

UPstaged 2014 is here! And this year we are taking the show into an awesome new direction! Every year we see some of XO’s best dancers and students perform on the stage, but now in it’s 4th year we’re UPing the level to make the greatest show we have ever made and celebrate what we love : Dance! Of special note this year our show has a theme ~ Collaboration.

For the first time all pieces in the show are collaborative works between several instructors, working together to create an amazing performance. In addition, dancers have had to work hard and audition for each piece, bringing a higher level and quality of dance to each. We are also hosting UPstaged in an all new venue with excellent stage, lighting and sound. This will be a historic event for XO, and we want you to join us!

We have invited 2 amazing international dancers to both train a performance crew and showcase their own skills. We are proud to be bringing Korean dancers Honey J from Purplow and Stagger from Cross Over (His crew is also known Cross Over!). Their first time in Australia, make sure to come and check them out as they showcase their skills!

In addition, we have selected some of the best crews associated with Crossover Dance in the past and invited them to perform special pieces at this show. Each crew has a link to XO, and we are happy to work together with them for our collaboration show.

This show is going to be amazing, and the performers have been working harder then ever to bring you the best show they can. Come watch and support then passion and enjoy dance! This year we will redefine our annual show with a performance that is going to UPstage all our previous ones. Get ready to Crossover.

They are going to be here for 1 week to teach workshops, perform at UPstaged and also teach a course for dancers to share the stage with them!
